You requested it and we listened.
As large businesses are cutting costs by moving away from 800 numbers in favor of “Community Help Forums,” to support long-time customers and answer general questions, HandyHub is moving in a different direction with a mission of improving service to our growing community of homeowners and service providers.
Today, we launched a live chat feature on our website to better connect with anyone looking for immediate support or information in real time. While we will continue to answer our 800 number 5 days a week and you'll still be able to email us (we promise a response within 24-hours with a goal of improving that whenever possible), we believe that many will enjoy and even prefer the convenience of our live chat, which will be available to you Monday through Friday during regular U.S. business hours.
You do not need to be logged in to your account to use live chat. From any page on our site, simply navigate to the bottom-right-hand corner of your screen to find the chat bubble icon (on mobile devices), or the "We are here," icon on desktops and laptops as seen below:
Logging in to your HandyHub account prior to initiating a chat will enable us to identify you more quickly, which will save us time in retrieving your account information and allow us to serve you more quickly and efficiently.
